Where Can I Buy Fiberglass?

I have never fiberglassed anything before but I do know that it can be found at any local hardware store or DIY store such as Home Depot. If you go to a store like HD it should be located in the Paint dept.

Fiberglassing invoves creating a mold of the desired output and then filling it with the fiberglass. Then the fiberglass needs to be sanded down and prepped for painting.

I too want to learn how to fiberglass but currently have no time to learn what with school and work. There are many helpful sites on the net just use google and youll be good.

you can get everything you need at an autozone, or a local paint shop.

home depot has fiberglass stuff under their house paint section. For bondo .. STAY AWAY FROM BONDO BRAND. Use Rage GOLD or rage lineup made by evercoat. Its the easiest sanding bodyfiller out there. If u want the cheapest fiberglass products.. goto your local marine/boat supply store.

You will need
-4" plastic spreaders
-36 grit sandpaper
-80 grit sandpaper
-150 greit sandpaper
-220/240 grit sandpaper
-Air grinder with 27,36 or 40 grit sanding disc
-DA sander
-Body filler
-Fiberglass resin/harder and fiberglass mat
Get some paint sticks to mix thing and to get the bodyfiller out the can (free from home depot)
-Get a construction paper booklet for to use as a mixing board for the bodyfiller. Cuz once ya done with it mixing and spread.. just tear the page away and your off to a clean new sheet. While they do sell mixing board, but then u need to clean it everytime you use it after mixing.

I think thats it. Some more stuff u need .. is lots of time and patiences with shaping and sanding
