Im sure you all know that the stock bumper isnt designed for tips on that side. Just curious how you all prevented the vibration that occurs from it hitting the edge of the bumper.
I thought about trying to see if a different hanger would drop it a titch lower.
What did you guys do?

Cut out the area a little with a dremel. Mask it off, and do it very carefully, not to chip the paint. It is a good idea to seal it off after you're done too around the edge. I have mine hanging the same height as the driver side.

What do you mean by mask it off, and how did you seal it?

Put some masking tape around the outside, which can serve 2 purposes... one to mark where you want to cut, and two to make sure you don't chip your bumper.
To finish up the job, I just used some clearcoat... sprayed it in the lid of a can, and applied to the cut edge with a small paint brush. It has worked pretty good, although I didn't cut it enough, and it wound up melting the bumper a little on the top. You can't see it unless you stare at it though.

Ahh thanks Naich! I may try that out. That or look for a body kit with a dual setup.

Just drop the drivers side tip down to match the passenger side.
That's how mine is.

My dad and i just got done installing mine. We cut the drivers side where the bumper goes underneath. Sanded the edge really good. Then we made a template with masking tape and flipped it over to the other side. We put the bumper on the car and marked where the center of the tips where. We just used a coping saw to cut the bumper and sanded it smooth, starting with a coarse grit and then finer grits.
It turned out really good. The bumper is symetrical and looks like it came from the factory with the two cutouts. Both tips are level and sticking out the same amount.
