Thought we could only run toxic orange? Now we can run Lime green too. Yum/

you can run either. and i've read that if you mix them, it's only as good as the green, and the orange doesnt add any life to the mix. but not sure how true that is... but yea, plain green after a flush is fine.

If you mix them it turns to sludge and you will have some problems. Ford did that to my Grand Prix and they ended up tearing the engine apart to clean everything and replace all the gaskets

hmmm, when i got my car they were mixed... but i never had any sludge or anything. i drained it all and put dex back in it. maybe the mix has long term effects?

I was told that a mix will also eat away at your gaskets which is why they replaced them all

Actually, if you mix them, it doesn't turn to sludge.... it turns to gel. You probably didn't have the green and orange mixed, you probably had the yellow mixed with one of them. Yellow is the new "universal" collant.

no, i had the stock dexcool from the original services on the car topped off with the green stuff.

Sludge was my way of saying gelled cause it wasn't completly gelled it just looked bad
