although it won't fit my car, without extensive fabrication, I still watched his video. Pretty decent.

yea, and great background music... mmm finch. old, but still good.
too bad the srt4 still smoked him.
wait a second? was that 1/8th mile? the sign was a little blurry, but those are 1/8th times i think, and his time looks like he was runnin stock.

How do you think he managed to mount the battery right there? I wanted to do the same thing a while back.

i'm pretty sure the kit came with a battery relocation tray.

he said his times are at 5500 feet....but he dynoed it out, "the car made 191WHP and 212Ft/Lbs @6psi, non-intercooled, and using only a casper's FPR. not bad at all considering the fuel system was all stock"

actually, he didn't get smoked by that SRT-4. The thing was barely ahead of him. I would consider that pretty good. The SRT-4 runs high 13's stock and with a good driver.

well nearly one second difference in the 1/8th mile counts as getting smoked in my book. he was almost two car lengths behind. anyone who has ever raced knows that that wasnt a "close race" and he got smoked. plain and simple.
in that run, if he was running 1/4, he wouldnt have even broken into the 14's.
i'm not sure what he would have ran at altitude adjusted, but that's one of the worse ga/alero 1/8th mile times i've seen.... including NA.

Not to mention his car is an automatic, you can still here the thing drop down out of it's powerband when it shifts into second..
Centrifugal superchargers kinda suck though, they don't make very much power "under the curve" so to speak, as they're only making peak boost right up near the redline, off-idle and midrange power arent as strong as a roots-type supercharger, but it still causes parasitic drag like one. Which is why they often post pretty good dyno numbers but disappointing track times...

very well put.
i dont care what your altitude is, with a STOCK 2.4l you shouldnt be running 10.91 or slower in the 1/8th. and with a supercharger? come on.

yeah, that does seem a little fishy, he should have been running alot faster than that
