My rad had a hole so I replaced that and figured it was a good time to get rid of that loud annoying ac compressor. After all is said and done car starts, doesn't overheat, idles great. Now if any of you had your car tuned you know the shift line pressure gets bumped up a lot, before at wot 1-2 I got thrown back and it was awesome, even half throttle you noticed it. Now it is very smooth almost like slipping but its not. My tune is still there because it still has fans off, higher shift point etc, just no firmer shifts. Could this be because when replacing rad which has the built in tranny cooler, I lost some tranny fluid so I did a drain and fill? Engine pay looks so empty now, just rusty log manifolds and oil filter over there. Also the splash guard for the rad broke on removal, will it be fine without it or should I get another? And if so where?

What comes to mind is the relearn. If the battery is disconnected for so long, then the car is driven, it starts to drive with the new driving. Almost like forgetting how to walk, then suddenly learning it all over again.
