yeh if he wants to spend a ton of money for custom tuning and mounting poop, when i got my new engine i only payed 350 for a 99 GAGT engine with 3,000 miles, and then i put it in myself, so yeh, i wouldnt pay more than $500 for a new engine Aaron

Be nice and all, expect you'd spend about 5 grand to get it under the hood of one of our cars.

Well I got it done and it was only $1,150 for the engine and labor and all...the engine I got had 986 miles on it, so I figured I got a good deal...anyone agree??

not bad like i said before i paid $350 for mine with 3,000 miles on it, and i installed it myself, so total with all my fluids gaskets and poop was somewhere between $400 and $450 installed....
