I'm going to start doing these, well alteast one for myself.

Would anyone else be interested? pretty much as long as I get 2 people in, I'd do it. Of course I'll post pics of mine before I ask anyone to put money down so you can see how they turn out.

I'm thinking price would come in about 180-250US. Buy your own HID kit. This is just for having the Lenses out of an AUDI/BMW etc stuck in your housing.

Yeah, a bunch of us have had the idea, but once you get going on the project, you realize how much of a giant PITA it is going to be, because you are going to have to cut the metal behind the headlights to leave enough room for the projectors' depth. Good luck! It is a big project, but it will kick a lot of ass once someone finally does it!

ahh crap, dealing with everything else i completely forgot about this....

hmmm on the hunt again for projectors now

Silent, if you are doing this at the sametime we should stay in touch. Don't want to end up having us both make the same mistakes.

So Naich, you think clearance behind the headlight is going to be the biggest problem?

well i already know how to do this and whats invoved cutting wise so if ya want pointers lemme know. Yes you are going to have to cut the metal behind the lenses but not to much, plus it also depends on the fitment of the projector and the aimers because last thing u wanna do is blind other drivers

pshhh... you and I both know where that projector came from anderbra, and its not holding a d2s bulb, nor is it meant to project purlply-blue fancy cutoff hawtness.

/\ exatly, plus a tru projection doesnt have a big black housing covering up all the pimpness :)

I had projector's on my old Honda and I loved them they look so good. Are these going to be 2 or 3 beam if you don't mind my asking.

2 or 3 beam? do you mean like bi-xenon? If so bi-xenons are possible, but the projectors are usually pretty f*ken deep so there is room for the solenoids, so it all depends on that. Hell, i'm scared about the gargantuan projectors I already have on the way.

Yeah, I'm interested too. That looks sweet! I have silverstars now, but I've always wanted HID's.

I've done it. and yeah its a big PITA. you have to cut out the reflector and shape it so the projector will fit. i also have big projectors. i'd probably have to say the smaller the better. and yes the biggest issue will be clearence. you have to cut the metal in the car behind the low beam housing to make it fit all the way in. here's a pic: Projector Headlight (http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/show_image.pl?fg=0000FF&bg=CCCCCC&migration=1&image=http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/428000-428999/428155_9_full.jpg)

is your bezel all warped and melted? or is it just a reflection?

Spilner521
