I changed my power steering pump yesterday. Turned the wheels back and fourth several times to try and bleed the air. Some came out but not all of it. My pump is still whining. Is there any bleeder valve on our cars or does anyone have a suggestion for getting all the air out of the system? Thanks!

The whine may be there for a few days but should go away after that. Keep a close eye on the power steering fluid level as it displaces any air remaining in the system...there is no bleed screw. You will always get some whine when you fully lock the steering wheel either left or right. I also use Lucas power steering fluid in my GA.

Well I tried all those tips and it has been four days since I put the new pump on and that bastard is still making noise! Possibly a defective pump? I guess I can put another one on and try it again...

Are you not seeing any improvement at all? When I replaced mine it whined like a baby. I thought the new pump was bad also but the noise finally went away.
Check the fluid level again and give it a few more days before throwing in the towel on the new pump. Also check the seal on the power steering reservoir cap to make sure it's good.
