the abs and low tire light are on on my car ,yet none of my tires are low and my abs is working. this started when i replaced my lmig. i thought that it might be because i had the battery disonected for 12 hours, but ive put 80 mileson it and they havnt gone off yet.? wtf

it doesnt hafta be related to the lim gasket......ive heard of a lot of peoples hubs going out when lights like that start going off.......you might want to check into that.......if you think its fine try unhooking your battery for 30 minutes.......and if they turn back on have someone look at it........depending on how well you know cars ofcourse......

Sometimes I think cars are like babies. They bitch and bitch until you give up, then they work correctly <_<

If there is a serious problem, give it about 3 or 4 days for the lights to come on again

You have a bad ABS sensor in the wheel hub. So meaning you need change out the whole wheel hub. Bout 100 bucks at autozone with 1 yr warranty. Mine crapped out about 2 months ago. I drove to my auto school and they had an ABS code computer scanner .. pin pointed to the left front hub. So i didn't have to guess.

An engine code reader will not work to read ABS codes. So going to autozone is useless. GOto a garage or the dealer and get the abs code read. I dunno if there is a charge.

its not the freaking hub. nor is it a sensor. i work at carquest and i hooked it up to the diagnostic computer. its still just resetting itself from the battery being disco for so long...

sweet, i work at carquest too, but we dont have anything high tech like scanners or anything
Ive had to replace the front left hub on mine also, because the bearing was going bad partially, and also the sensor was going bad, and would sometimes trip the trac off and anti lock light

i work at autozone and damn codes suck when it's not an SES

hehe

i've had anti lock / trac off on for almost as long as I've owned the car

i've had both front wheel bearings go, the first i had a mechanic do and he reset the codes, but they popped back up within a few days

i replaced the second wheel bearing on my driver side, disconnected the battery, the codes don't go away

assuming only other place is the dealer for deleting the codes

malfunction somewhere amonst the wiring is all i can guess

i f*** with everybody, if people sit around for more than 5 minutes trying to be a mechanic at the store and not at their house, they get the boot

so many people come in knowing nothing, people doing work on their cars and they don't even know the engine, if it's 2, 4, awd.

it's ridiculous

although i get a good discount, the + to sticking it out
