took the car to autozone and the guy said I had an evap problem, the guy didnt give me a code or anything he just said evap problem, so now what?
The guy that took the reading is kind of... well... not bright to put it nicely :)

Go back and get the code 90% of the time its a gas cap

I don't have any codes and still know I need to replace my gas cap being as if it is hot out I can have a quarter of a tank magically disappear no matter where I am, and it is a b*&ch to siphon anyways so that is likely where it is going, if it was a leak it should happen regardless of temperature

huh... weird, why cant the dash just say loose gas cap, lol. But I will go back find someone with some one with higher intelligence if that is possible.

???????? your loosing a quarter tank of fuel through the gas cap? i think you will find you are not loosing a quarter tank of fuel through the gas cap :wtf2:

He might - the anti-siphon may be bad :lol: :lol:
These don't actually HAVE an anti-siphon, it's the anti-rollover that gets in the way. But if that ball disappears, then there's no problem for siphoning.
Or so my nephew used to tell me back when he ran a wrecking yard ...
