I am looking for a flowmaster witht he flowing setup. Can anyone tell me where I could find one I have been looking all over the net.

Out<-----]`````````[-----> Out

IN -----> ]...............|

Ok I know that sucks but its the best I can come up with. Need two outputs one on each side and one input. This setup well really save me time and prob money when I install my system.

Oh forgot one thing. I am looking for something deep sounding. Like the 40 or a bit lighter then that.

or just go to flowmasters site and do a dealer search.

Was looking online see if I can get a deal. There are some on ebay half the price but the outputs are wrong. Both on one side. Well work but I need to mod more and I don't feel like doing that. Very hard for me to bend pipe without a pipe bender.

I well look around for the camaro one see if anything comes up. Not a huge fan of those cars but if it works who cares lol.

the camaro style is what you want. has nothing to do with the car, just has the setup built for what you need.

Oh and yes dual out. I had a site about 2 hours ago that had a 40 the way I wanted it for 120.00 13.00 shipping I think. Not bad of a deal from what I could see.

is this what you have?

All you need is the muffler. Your gonna have to get the pipes bent and welded for you at an exhaust shop. Unless you go with a specific designed cat-back system from SLP or Borla.

The muffler set up you want is similar to a Camaro replacement muffler. Single inlet, dual outlets with one outlet on each end of the muffler. Both Flowmaster and Dynomax have a Camaro replacement muffler that would work and sound good. Most of us here that have a custom exhaust with the dual outs have one of these two mufflers.

flowmaster 80 i got for 80 bucks...
you need to go to exhaust shop to get it mounted, it wont look right if you dont bend with bender.....
it cost me 60 bucks to get mine cut off and flowmaster put on, and pipes bent and welded for dual exhaust.

better yet found the 80. Sounds ok but not as deep as the 40 would. Even the 60 sounds good. Let me know how much different the 80 sounds like on the alero.

just because your putting a camaro muffler on doest mean you have a camaro engine.... its not going to sound like a camaro.

true but its the tone I'm looking at not the amount of sound that comes out of it. I clicked everyone on that page to see if I could come up with a idea of what it would sound like. Really think I like the 60 the best. Problem is the 80 is the only one that well fit the way I want it too. Cost me 150 total for the tips and pipes new at the most + install can't be more then 100.00 for everything to put installed. You got any pics I could look at of what you want to sell?

Found the flowmaster 80 like yours new 83.00 online.

well for one the tone is going to be a noticeable difference between a camaro and a aleor, and for 2 i never said i was selling anything.

My total price was about 300$ for my whole setup.. that included 2.5" piping, though. And I also bought the muffler through a local shop.. coulda gotten a better deal online. Here's a clip of mine. This is in park, which is why it pops a bit when it revs high. Sounds better in gear.

Most people here will tell you to leave the stock cat. Supposedly they flow as well as aftermarket ones. But yea, you could do it before if you wanted.

Hi flow cats are worthless on our cars. You gain like 2 horsepower. Not only that, but you have to deal with the SES lights because the O2 sensor.

Not worth the money for the extra power. Save more money for my superchanger. I was really thinking I was going to spend 900.00 on a new system for my car. Would it be better if I went with 3 inch pipes?

well glowbot i hope you like the outcome because the 3.4 sounds good with that exhaust setup, but does anyone know if it will sound anywhere close to that with the 2.2 and 2.5 inch piping?

glowbot

I have never even seen a 2.2L in person. Only the 3.4.

i honestly like the ecotec better than the other two. just because its lighter and you can do alot to them for little less money and its a 4 cylinder so insurance and gas mileage is better. but i still would like to know from someone how the full catback exhaust will sound on the 2.2.

hey i have the delta 80 series with dual tips on my 3.4 V6 and it only ran me little over $200 with mandrel bends. but if you have the 2.4 your better off with something like the magnaflow of somethin. And btw my cars sound hella beefy for a V6

lol from what I can see the tips I can get for 45.00 each so thats like 90.00 for the tips and 68.00 for the flowmaster 80 off ebay so I'm up to 158.00 then I need pipes don't think thats going to be more then 50.00 and then 60.00 - 80.00 install fee. Really don't think I'm going to need more then 300.00 to do this project. Also want lowering springs 2.75 - 3.00 drop.
