Rev limiter? How do I take that off hahaha. I hate when people rev and it goes to redline but mine stop at just above 4000rpm. -_-

If you only have $30 in your bank account, I HIGHLY recommend, DON'T.
But how to take it off? Get a tune on the ECU. Or buy the software and tune it yourself.
Both of which will cost more than that $30. And if you don't pay attention and overrev it, that'll cost a LOT more than $30.
The rev limiter is there to keep people from shrapnelling their motors by overrevving the motor.

It can be done at the same time as the speed limiter, as has been said you have to be careful not to overrev it, I also wouldn't advise touching the upper limiter unless you build it first (eg. if you manual shift an ecotec and don't shift soon enough there is a limiter at 6500 rpm, going past that limiter won't take long to cause catastrophic failure.

And why do you want to rev higher?
Just when you are stopped?
Wastes fuel and makes you look like a dork.

I'd say leave it, in gear it will go till it needs to shift.

You're not supposed to be revving your engine without a load anyways. Also who are you trying to impress? You'll just look stupid after your engine blows.

Tuned PCM here, rev limiter still there :rolleyes2:
If you remove it, please post a vid of your engine going BOOM!

Yeah there's no reason to rev higher than 4000 in neutral.

Now I want to see this "BOOM" video! Although, I do wish that my tranny had better gearing. It seems to take 20 seconds to downshift when I punch it. I've been resisting the urge to manually drop gears lately.

SMDH.....and you wonder why it takes 20 seconds to downshift.

when is the last time the fluid was changed, it could be getting to where it is needed, not flushed just the pan drained, and the filter changed

Buy some of that Lucas stuff, I wrote a review on it on here.
Kept my tranny from slipping for about 2 years or so.
Of course, just like tranny fluid, it smells like sweaty feet wrapped with bad Doritos

Is it true if your tranny fluid hasn't been changed for a LONG time, It's bad to change it?

DeeJayy - Short answer, if it hasn't been changed in a while, be sure you can afford to get the tranny rebuilt/replaced even if you DON'T replace it.
Medium answer - Don't get it flushed, have them do a pan drop / refill.
Long answer - Google it, I don't feel like typing in the expanded version of "War and Peace" tonight :p
