Alright, so I did some searching on here and couldn't find the answer I was looking for, for my situation. I have a 2003 Alero 3400. Has about 194k miles, just had head gaskets replaced about 4k miles ago. I am seemingly losing a good amount of coolant again, this time not out of the overflow, nor am I getting the over heating issue I was previously with the HG problem. Looks like most of the moisture is coming out near the T-stat. Is there any explanation that could be given to me, such as leaking LIMG? Or is it going to be something simple?
Thanks! Much appreciated

coolant on the ground? smell coolant? coolant in the oil? unless there was a lot of air in, then it has to be going some where.

It's all going to the ground, and there is a lot of it. Can possibly take some pictures to show where it's leaking and show the puddle too.

Is it the t-stat housing? Is the coolant trail above or below the housing?

Looks like it is below the T-stat housing. But it is kind of hard to see with all the the throttle body and intake in the way.

Took a look at some more old posts on here with a coolant leak issue. Too add some information on the situation, it is dripping off underneath the car near the oil pan/tranny filter on the bottom of the car, and the leak seems to be coming from the t-stat area.

might as well put in a new t-stat while you are in there especially if you haven't done it before

Thermostat gasket is my first call - the LIM second. It could also just be the hose is not fully tightened on the t'stat housing.

And as suggested by 03glgold, I'd put a new ACDelco or premium Stant t'stat in - the cheap ones are, well, cheap, and have all too many failures to suit me personally. Better to pay a bit more and not have to go back into it.

I just had the t-stat replaced less than 4k miles ago along with head gasket, and upper+lower intake manny's hopefully its just the housing gasket then. Thanks!!

Took it to a shop to see what they could come up with. Looks like my coolant has just mysteriously gone missing somewhere and it was leaking oil out of the Oil pump drive. Could have possibly just been air in the coolant, or bad cap again.

Just for curiosity is your brother still building those tail lights?

Yes, has a lot of projects going currently, but they are almost completed, just have to get lenses on them.
