has anyone put bonneville rims on an alero?

title says it all.. i was at the scrap yard and saw a boneville with the 225/50/17.
these ones. 11279. i think they look pretty sweet and i wanted to go to 17s anyway. anyone ever done this? they do have the same lug pattern. I just dont want to go buy them if they are going to look like shit or preform like shit.

Alero bolt pattern = 5x115mm

Bonneville bolt pattern = 5x115mm

should work. i just looked up the bonneville bolt pattern on google.

I think it's too much of a 90's look for Alero's modern body shape. I wanted to put Aurora's 17" chrome rims on. But hey, if you like them, it's your car ;)

I already knew they would fit. I was just wondering if anyone had done it so i can see what it would look like. I am not a huge fan of chrome, i prefer gunmetal wheels or black, sometimes painted silver or what ever. the bonneville did also have 5 spoke 17s that almost look like the grand am gt's wheels. i found a set with tires for 150 bucks on CL. idk if i should get rims though. I want to stick to performance but god damn its expensive.

Edit: i am terrible with photoshop.. otherwise i would photshop the wheels onto a picture of my car.

well yeah its a stock wheel lol. but still looks decent.

also im in castleton right now eric, saw a silver alero like yours, thought it was you. but then saw his driver window was all the way down. :lol:
