What is the best and cheapest way to make Projector head lights with the option to install DDM HIDs?
retrofit projectors into your alero headlight then buy the bulbs that fit that projector....

painted and wired these yesterday

installed the turn signal assemblies. Note that I removed the bezel around the headlights. The projectors melted them, but it looks awesome on the car. Don't know if I'll use them, might use the euro bezels.

I keep saying I'm going to do this, but it probably won't be for a very long time. Anyway, check out the retrofitsource Site. They have some pretty nice kits.

I did find this on eBay, what do you think?:

I'm hoping it will work they look smaller than the projectors posted above.
I will also check out retrofit to see how much they are.
It does look like an easy install just need to take my time, something I rarely have right now, on the install.

id suggest acura tsx clear lens projectors, or s2000 clear lens projector. those are the top and best output projectors out there from what ive read.
i planned on doing the tsx ones but i just never got around to it. and who knows i might and i might not.
id say stay away from fresnal lens, they are a little less output then clear lens

I did a retrofit kit from ebay on my bike, and it was pretty easy to do. Just note, you may need to modify your headlight housing a bit to get them to fit.

installing projectors your gonna have to mod the headlight either way. make sure you get a small enough projector, too big and your gonna have some fitment problems.

I'm going to make bucket for those BMW projector, I just bought off ebay, at work while I still can. The reason I say that is because I found a new permanent job with a bank instead of my current position as a production welder. :D

Just to give some other background info, look for an old thread about HID Kits and how I was talking about what really counts for this.
And to give another incentive here is a write up for a projector build for a 2nd Gen Camaro.
The builder put a lot into researching how to do it right and how to pick the right parts. I can make contact if this is a real serious build you plan.

Interesting look on the Camaro. First I need to gather materials and make measurements and go from there. I will most likely make the buckets out of sheet metal, hence me current working title sheet metal fabricator. This build might take a while, I have to come up with ideas on whether or not I want to run HIDS and other factors like style and any other idea I may have or had in the past.

At a stand still. I'm currently looking for work before I can get back on this project, I should have pics of my installed torque bar by the end of the day.
