I doubt what you're witnessing is actually rust... If you take a picture, you'll probably get more accurate answers. How new are the spark plugs? Have you notice any misfires, lower MPG or performance?

Brown or dark orange color( I cleaned them so maybe a pic n a week or 2) in the last two weeks its been feeling slower. I when I taped the gas it was leaning out and when driving it wasnt stayn in picking up. Wide band was going between 14- 16 wile driving usually oracle12-15 before boost.

what are you tuning with? What heat range are you using compared to stock and how much boost?

I'm not tuning it. I go to a Tuner shop hptuners. Running about 12 boost stock compression.

does it stumble when it starts up? (burning off puddled coolant in cylinder(s))
pull spark plugs after sitting overnight and look down inside and see if there's coolant in there

When I first got it back from tuning it started quick now it takes two to three cycles to fire.

i don't care about that, i said stumbling
vibration, enging running rough, shakiness only for the first 3-10 seconds after it's started

that doesn't mean it's the head gasket
how does it run? if the head gasket was failing, at high throttle coolant would blow out and the car would be getting hot too, above half and never coming down.

It runs good. Even tho its auto and I drive like stick most of the time. I blow off between gears. Only thing I notice is, when it starts cold to stays from 10.3-11 one the wideband gauge. After it warms up for about ten mins it goes lean and cuts off if I don't tat on the gas. If I keep it from cutting off for atleast 5 sec it runs perfect. If cut off when I restart its good.
Heats stays under half most of the time. Only reaches half or a hair over if I'm really pushing it.

replace the plugs... do the outside coil setup like ION and I did.. relatively cheap and efficient... I was missing fire at only 5psi above 6000rpm because the stock internal coils were weak on mine...
next check your fuel pump to make sure it has enough pressure AND flow... what injectors are you running ??
also make sure to test or recalibrate your wideband if you can do it...
check your transmission fluid... and let it shift alone... if tuned properly it will always do better shift than you manually shifting it....
and I still can suspect a bad tune...
p.s.: on my LD9 I run 2 step colder a only 5 psi..
on my L67 I run full race plug 4 step colder at 16 psi
