reverse lamp fuse?

okay found it, but the fuse is not blown. i am lost now as to what to do, both bulbs look nearly new. so what else could be causing this problem.

loose wire, dirty/rusty connections? shifter not making full contact to actually engage the lights?

i still havent figured it out. one blown bulb would cause both to not work right?
i dont expect this to be like Christmas lights.

now where is the shifter supposed to make contact? i heard the switch was on the tranny somewhere, but i dont know exactly where.
