engine tapping i think???

Ok! soooo i never really noticed this b4 but at start up my engine does this like knock/ tap thing. Now iknow what a knock sounds like. Its kinda like a knock but a hell of alot softer if that makes any sense what so ever. i tried seafoam on the top end just to see what would happen i idle alot better but the tapping is still there and its comming from the bottom end. im a little worried at this point.

so im going to try to seafoam the cranck case and ifthat doesnt work start looking at replacing the bearings and wristpins i really hope i dont have to replace that stuff. but when duty calls what you ganna do i guess. any imput would be great weither some one had this problem or are farmiliar with it.

Does it get quiter when the engine is warmed up?

one of the downsides of the 60 degree v6 is the pistons. thye contract a lot when cold and when the engine starts up you get some piston slap due to the size of the piston and the gap between it and the cylinder wall. noise goes away once the engine get some heat in it and the piston expands. my clyinder 2 does the same thing. kinda normal. drive it.

yea its like a clicking noise not that loud from the headers but same kinda tick just not loud at all im thinking graham is right because it seems to be loudest right in the middle on the bottom end and i can hear it better in the oil pan i put a stethascope to it loud as hell hurts the lobes but ican hear it plain as day so this is normal?
