I know it's 3 bolts holding it on the block (or bracket) However according to the repair guide on Autozone's website, removal of the upper motor mount is required.

I know I have to remove the crusie control box and belt to get it off, but can anybody confirm if I do have to remove the motor mount as well. Depending on removal of the mount or not, really depends on where I do the work at. All my heavy tools like that are at my mom's house.

I need to replace the 7X CPS :D

The mount must come off. Otherwise you cannot raise the engine to reach the bottom bolt.

Just replaced this myself... Motor mount comes off, unscrew the three bolts, then slap the new one on. Was a piece of cake.

I need to do the same job Red. Also want to put in new chain and guide so I'm planning both jobs at the same time when I can get a day to do it. Hurt my dam back last week and I'm laid out on the couch right now....sucks...lol

Actually, you can get to it by just removing 1 of the bolts from the mount, but it's a hell of a struggle. It's alot easier if you just remove the top bolts from the mount and jack up the engine with a block of wood to get access to that last pump bolt...the mount doesn't have to be completely removed.
