hey this may not only be a very stupid and noobish question to ask here in aleromod but I got to admit in fact it is. Here it goes, all quad 4 engines are basically the same(correct me if I’m wrong), if not they would not be called a family. So yesterday when I went to the junk yard, I found a 1988 grand am gt with a quad 4 engine and it looks like this

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/a/ae/Quad4-89Calais.jpg/280px-Quad4-89Calais.jpg My question would be, could I take the intake manifold(if that is the name of it if not please correct me) off the quad 4 and replace my plastic one with it? well I’m pretty sure I can! what I’m actually looking for is, what would be the cons and pros of me doing this. I just think it looks awesome(call me noobish if u want), better than all of the other intake manifolds including the glorified lgo intake, imo

That manifold is a horrible design. Those on JBO showed huge losses in power when they switched to it... that's why that manifold is so rare, it was a poor concept.

Primaries like that belong on an exhaust, not an intake.

Also your ports won't line up with that manifold, you'd need to weld on a new flange or adapter, and have a custom gasket made like I did for my custom manifold.
