I am new to tuning but was told I need to change my tourque management settings. I am using a DHP tuner. The reason is because my HP I believe is more then what my PCM was originaly set for. My PCM is a off the shelf DHP v1.0 that I have made slight changes to as of late. I have a 02 GA 3.4l GT. So I was wondering what the Max Turbine Torque TCC Locked is because my value is set at 247.5 ft/lb's and I was told I should change it to 280 to support the mods I have. I have since added S&S headers, full 2.5" exhaust with high flow cat, Ported Upper and Lower intakes, 65mm TB, CAI, EGR Delete and a few other small things. So what do you guys think? Also What is the Max Turbine Torque Tcc Unlock for? I did post this on Powrtuner.com but I figured i would probably get a faster response on here.

The TCC System uses a solenoid-operated valve to couple the engine flywheel to the output shaft of the transmission through the torque converter. Lockup reduces slippage in the converter increasing fuel economy.

I have seen so many people talk about the torque reduction tables and what to do *or not do* with them its insane. I maxed mine out years ago and have had no problems with it. I have absolutely no problem so far and its been 6 years like this. No torque reduction and all torque tables pinned to the max! These 4T45's are a lot better than anyone gives them credit for. They are programed to be a soft, granny shiftin, grocery gettin tranny. But, and I mean BUT... wake them up in the tune and they kick ass imo. This is comming from a guy that "I bet" has more track runs with a 4T45E than anyone on any board. 11 years, minimum 3 track days a year, and at least 5-15 runs per trip. Add that to my 6600RPM to 7200RPM shifts for the last 6 years, ahhh yea.... Kids, dont try that one at home without the engine mods to back it up lol And yes, this is a daily driver as well!!

:p I'm trying to remember how far I got on the first tranny, I think it was about 280 1/4 mile runs. On the old tranny I left TM stock, but switched the line pressure for racing. I still do that, but I need to mod the shift parameters.
There might be some other different Tables in the DHP than HP Tuners. I don't remember seeing the one O/P mentions.

I wish I had them all still B, I bet we could compare one hell of a stack... hahahhaa Ive lost some over the years through moves and stuff, but stil got quite a few kicking around. Made sure I kept enough that I can track my progression over the years. What a trip it's been eh' man
In HP its the MAX Torque tables. Then Tiny Tuner has a couple more, but nothing much

Yeah that still leaves a question about what to set it at. I took it up to 280ft/lb's today and I do notice it is running quicker. How would I know when enough is enough as far as how high I can go?
