im looking at some prings on ebay. theres come ebotech and there are also sprint springs. i have completly stock suspension (fe3) and i was going to put in some new struts at the same time. i was looking at the gr2s. dont really want to put the money into agxs. would new springs and gr2s + strut tops be ok. i dont need to find special struts that are shorter do i?

why get GR2 struts? if you're just getting stock replacements, just use your existing stock ones and save up for the AGX for when your stock ones blow

:haha: Def not a good idea.....but to each their own. So when his stock ones blow and he has to pay to get it towed, then order the AGXs....wait for them to come in, then get them put on.....doesn't seem very practical.

How many miles are on your car?

i have a 140k on mine and it rides like shit. thats why i want want the gr2s. dont know that im going to keep the car long enough to drop the penny on the agxs and get my moneys worth out of them. plus it could always turn into a winter car at any givin time.

they won't blow like that, ive put 15k on my stock springs with 250k (km's ) and they were shot before I lowered it but just saving the money for some worthwhile struts.

just get the monroes ull be happy

You don't tow a car just because it's bouncy all of a sudden. It's still driveable. I meant if he can't wait to lower it, just lower it, and your next priority should be obtaining AGX's and then taking everything apart AGAIN just to put the struts in. That's the only practical option if he really wants to get 'em on ASAP and feels like taking everything apart twice.

my question right now is will stock length struts work fine? i dont want to spend that much money on great struts jsut to turn around and get rid of the car next year, or end up driving it in the winter. i totally understand why i should go with agxs so no arguments there. i just have other priority at the moment.

struts and shocks can also get more harsh. iv bought quite a few vehicles that felt like they would break yoru back over bumps. new shocks and it was much nicer.

dont matter Ion, I understood what you meant, and your right wait til your agx struts come in.
