I have a 99 alero with the 3.4 v6 and i want a good sounding muffler nothing ricey, but something thats deep and throaty when ur on the gas and not to load when your off it. I want something that will fit in the factory cutout and something that i can get and take right to an auto place and get it put on. I have 2 friends one with a accord and one with a sunfire both got there mufflers put on for about 60 labor.
Can anyone recomend one? Thanks

Ractive makes several good mufflers. Most people on here are going to tell you to go with flowmaster.

And I'll be the first
Heard a GAGT today with dual 40's. Very deep tone and did not sound rice at all.
I wish I put them on after hearing that :(
Do not go bigger than 2.5"

yea, if you want a fartcan the ractive's are nice, otherwise go with flowmaster, i have one, it sounds great. if you want dual outlets you'll have to get one for a camaro... 2.5 in and 2.5 dual out. i reccomend you get all the piping 2.5 from the downpipe, and a new cat, but if you're short on cash, the muffler alone will sound fine.

flowmaster 80 series works well if u want dual outlets.
