so i love the pacesetter setup but its been on backorder for 2 months im still waiting and they told me atleast another month. If i went an alternate route i was curious is there any muffler out there that has that nice mellow sound thats not raspy like the pace i just really like that sound it makes on our v6?

I believe that the only options are the pacesetter and doing a custom with different tips. There is an exhaust thread I had where I discussed it pretty intensively, but I think that is the case if I remember correctly.

Where did you buy the exhaust from?

i tried 3 sellers all cancelled the order after i paid said no longer could get it then i went right to pacesetter explained how i tried 3 people they said they dont like selling to the public but did for me but that was in march they just told me today i have atleast another month before it would ship. already 2 months im just losing patience but ive checked youtube and i havent heard anything that has that mellow sound. :/

That sucks. I would recommend finding a good exhaust shop and see what deal they can get you on a custom pipe. May even be cheaper and sound better. Parts aside from that are in that info thread.

Good luck.

Just buy a turbo-style muffler (summit, jegs, thrush, etc.) and have a shop custom make the rest of the system. You'll probably save money in the end, and the Thrush mufflers are inexpensive and stainless so that will be better too.

I would Just ask for my money back there are quite a few websites that have the same exhaust available.

The mainstream ones haven't been in stock. He would have to deal with some shiestier businesses probably. I would be interested to see a custom exhaust...
