Need some mods for under $20 a pop I can do right now. Just found out I can count my alero as a show vehicle for my business so all mods are write offs.

search around on google. there was one that made em awhile back but got discontinued.. i dont think they have carbon fiber ones at all... but i wouldnt suggest carbon fiber either. they are very hard to maintain... sun fades them really easily.. so if you can i would just get a regular cowl hood..

especially if your car is a daily driver and doesnt sit in a garage i would not suggest carbon fiber. or in the winter.

I wasnt going to get one just see how they look. There pretty much rice. So i was thinking just the vinyl wrap.

Very hard to maintain? NOOOOO!!!! If they are painted right with a good clearcoat they won't yellow or fade.

And actually there have been two CF hoods made for the alero, the cowl hood, and there were also several OEM style hoods made WAYYYY back...

I've owned both, and two different CF cowl hoods......lol

:haha: You said CF hoods are rice? and follow it up with I'm just gonna do some vinyl.......

here are a couple pics for reference (CF and fiberglass) of two alero aftermarket hoods.....
