Hey dudes,

I'm in need of a stock 1999 Alero GLS V6 3.4 ecu tune using HPtuners software.

Can anyone help me?

does it have to be HP Tuners? theres places like MP Racing and Milzy Motorsports that can do it for you aswell, but I believe they're using DHP.

Edit: Thought OP was asking for someone to tune his stock car. My bad.

Did you look in the tune repository on the HPTuners site?
I take it you didn't save a copy of your stock tune before you started making changes, eh?

i have a stock file you can reference, but its from a 2003, i think the only difference is the injector size. but i have to get permission from the person that sent it to me.

Ok thanks, well yes I have a few from later alero's but for some reason when I change all the settings to stock back and adjust the stock injectors, the car will start but shut down back.

so don't know why.
With the turbo tune it idles.

Before we tuned the car I had copied the stock ecu tune but what happened is that my computer crashed so i lost everything.

I had a problem similar to that with my stock 1999 file, I could not change it from the stock IFR settings and have the car run very long.

My easiest solution has been to use a 2001 file. But not all later year files can work, you just have to do the relearn and try them.

I do have hptuners and would be happy to help, but I am learning the program myself right now. On top of that, I only have mac laptops so I have to wait until the wife let's me buy a new computer....(sigh).

I have a 2004 as well. There have been software incompatibilities when Ion and I were working together on it.
