i was thinking about getting an intake:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-04-OLDSMOBILE-ALERO-3-4L-V6-AIR-INTAKE-SYSTEMS-3PC-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZModelQ3aAleroQQhashZitem27 ba3b8e44QQitemZ170628189764QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTru ckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

and putting on a flowmaster muffler and then seeing about getting the car tuned a bit. do you guys think this will increase fuel millage (in theory if i drive exactly the same as i do now) or at least have more power with same mpg.

i have a custom cai and a 40 series on mine, not tuned yet though, ive noticed a few more mpg when im nice to it, but im usually into the throttle quite a bit, im averaging about 18 mpg, but im gettn up to 27 on the highway
