Then get a Dynomax Super Turbo, never get a straight through canister style.

"If you have a turbo or v6 and need 3" we have that too." What the heck kind of v6 has 3" pipe from the factory?

The Mercedes 300SL (the one that bdyman repainted most of) has a factory exhaust that is dual 2.5" to just before the axle then it goes into 3". So I guess it doesn't seem that unreasonable.

Ugh to that eBay muffler

A 300SL has a 3 inch exhasut, but how much power is it pushing?

I have 2 Flowmaster 44's and I love it, but like it's been said, to each their own ;)

228HP@6300 RPM 201 ft-lbs @4600

And it only weighs 2 tons

No wonder it's a 5-speed manual with no overdrive.

That's actually not all the terribly much more than an LA1 Alero. You could easily top that with an Alero for WAY less than the cost of buying the Mercedes.

That's why it was relevant.

And that Mercedes isn't worth that much more than my Alero. But on the bright side, there is a twin-turbo kit available for it.
