Yesterday I was diagnosing a no-start on my car, I found the nice suprise of a flexplate bolt that had backed itself out and lodged itself between the starter and the flex plate causing the starter drive gear not to mesh (flex plate has never been off). Anyways, I was wondering if its possible to reach the flexplate bolts without dropping the trans, I was thinking if you unbolted the tourque converter from the flexplate you may be able to reach them, so if anyone has any any suggestions they would be greatly apreciated, thanks.

No you need to pull the trans there in the center of the flex plate and you cant get to them without taking the Tq converter off and make sure to use the right locktight when you put them back on i think its the red one but id double check.
