Whats the best way to clean the carpet/seats?
Maybe its just me but in the summer i hate having to still see the dried salt on my floor mats/carpet and plus my carpet and seats are really dirty and have stains in them from the previous owner.
i tried once before to hose off the floor mat, but that ended up being damn near 3 days until the floor mat was dry..

That's what I thought most people did. That and doing it when the weather is warm.

I'm still young for that but it sounds like a decent idea

Go through a car wash but leave the windows down.

The rear seat you can pull out, spray with foam cleaner and hose down. Just keep in mind that as you soak it, it dries and pulls embedded dirt to the surface. So plan on rinsing it multiple times on a hot sunny day.

I use Prestone cappet cleaner in the floors. I used in on the seats in my Cougar too (had Velor type seats)

Your wife washes and takes care of your cars? My wife's car never received regular maintenance or any sort of care until we got married. I'm jealous...do you loan out?:jk:

The seats are easy to just take apart and put the covers in the washing machine. Get them snuggle soft!

Isn't the upholstery on the seats permanently attached?

Nope, there's clips that can be removed.. And a velcro-like attachment in the seatback.
