Hey for about 6 month I had been getting a really bad shift into second. I even Added DHP and it was still no help.
When you hammer on it the car will shift back to 4200 RPM but it will just hang there for 1-3 second then you would feel a Thud as the band engaged and the car would start pulling again.
it got worse 2 night ago it would diengage at 6000 he car would stop pulling but the engine would rev another 200 RPM to about 6200 before it would kick back to 4200 then it wold hang then you would feel the band engaging. Also this would ONLY happen when the engine is warm, it was fine when it was cold.
The solution. I think it was last year GM Release an update for the 4t40, 4T45, and 4T45-E. there was an update on the shift valve, and valvebody spacer plate. Also well it was apart the Pressure control solinid was replaced. After the 5H job, the car was still a bit sliggish, but with more WOT shifts it got better and better, now the shift is perfect. Problem solved.
I dont have a Video of how it used to shift, but here is how it shifts about 100KM after the install.

Car is kind of slow due to knock, I just out in 5 bucks in gas so my Pup gas 111 Race gas mix was a bit lean.
Here are the Pics of the install had to remove the crossmeber, take the sideplate off the tranny, remove the pump and valve body.

This is just a Little heads up to anyone elce having this problem.
I'm very lucky that have a Buddy who is a GM tech and he did the work for me at the dealer, it took him from 9:30AM untill 2PM to get it doen. Its not a cheap job if you go to the dealer.
