Anyone currently running this setup on their 3400 Alero, and if so is there a noticeable power difference? Also, do you loose a little bottom end power and is it pretty loud?
Thanks a lot

Sounds good, any change in "power" is just placebo, slight increase in MPG (1-2). However, these exhausts have a habit of rusting out, so buy a flowmaster, or a dynomax super turbo, or if you want something else you can check out youtube videos to find a sound you like. Once you get a muffler, have a shop make a custom cat-back, and all in all, you'll probably spend $50-100 less than if you buy the pacesetter, plus you won't have to deal with it rusting out in a few years.

I enjoy mine.
It has a nice rumble that is not obnoxious (Only sounds good on the 3400). Rusting always depends on where you live, but get the ceramic coating.
As far as bottom end power I have no idea. I felt like I had the same acceleration with less rpms but I do not drag race my vehicle, I'm generally pretty mellow with it.
Overall I am pleased. If you get the dual exhaust, have a shop cut a nice lip out of the bumper.

yeah i got one too. i love the sound of it. i looked on youtube at pacesetter and flowmaster on 3400's. i liked the sound of the pacesetter better.
but everyone has there own opinion. :p

I think the Pacesetter has one of the best sounds on the LA1, but it is quite expensive, and with the rusting that it is famous for, I just don't think it was a worthy investment.
