Anyone ever seen a digital readout for the thermostat so u can tell when the car is ready to drive in the winter instead of relying on oil temp?

You never saw the coolant temperature gauge to the left of the tachometer? The very first tick mark is right around 100 degrees, and halfway is 200. All the way is around 260. Also, of course there's "digital readouts for the thermostat," it's called a Water Temp gauge. You can find them anywhere, GlowShift makes a few low-priced digital coolant temperature gauges..

Your car came with an oil temperature gauge instead? Crazy.
