tail light question

I recently took a turn too quickly and slid into a tree. It hit the back left end and broke the tail light. My question is, why do all tail lights light up when I push the lock/unlock on my remote and when I turn the lights on inside but not when I turn the car on and press the pedal. Only the third brake light and outside light on the right light up. How can I fix this?

That's normal. Stupid, but normal. Only the third brake light and the outside lights light up with the brakes, but if it annoys you a lot it's not a difficult thing to change, I believe the faqs in Cherrington's sig might include that tutorial.

replace the bulb on the left. It's a duel filament.

Oh, so the trunk lights don't get brighter when you press? And Is there a way to fix the plastic without replacing the entire tail light, just a quick fix?

its simple to do! but you need leds or you risk overloading the wires

no you need to replace the whole tail light you cant just replace the plastic
