EVAP purge cause miss?

So, my car is still missing a lot. Now i was told to disregard this, but i'm bringing it up again. A while back i got a small emissions leak code. I smoked the car and it read no leaks. So i thought purge valve or something. Well the missing started shortly after.

The question, could a faulty EVAP purge valve cause random engine misfires? It misses enough to flash the SES light.

yeah, thats what i thought. And the smoker showed no leaks. unless when it purges it creates a leak, but doutful.
