I have a 1999 Transmission from a V6 Alero and I am wondering if it is a direct swap into my 2002 V6? Thanks

im pretty sure the tranys for the 6 are the same from 99 to 04

If it's an Alero Tranny, from the V6 then YES.

If it was the GA tranny, you'd have to be careful because of the different gear ratios. Mainly just the final drive ratio because the PCM will flag it

thanks guys-i got a great deal on a 99 tranny and wanted to confirm this before i bought it.
