300hp?

I am just wonder how powerful someone has made an alero? I mean what is the limit? I would just like to have a list of things i should be going for so i can tear it up. thanks

If you want 300 HP it's possible but it WILL cost you

Figure on the RSM s/c to get you up to about 240hp or you can go with the total belt driven s/c kit. There is aturbo kit for the 3400 but I do not know what it gains you get from it

You'll want to get the heads to give a better s/c flow as well as upper and lower manifolds and don't forget the TB too.

Headers are also a must that will lead into a cat back exhaust. I usually say no bigger than a 2.5" but you may want to go 3". I wouldn't do the Borla or SLP in this case. I'd go total Flowmaster.

You'll probably be around 280 at the crank by this point. Lightweight pullies from Street Arsnal.com could help you out a bit too. RSM also has a lightweight crank pullie too.

New plugs and 8mm wires help but conbined with the pullies you'll gain maybe 2 HP if you're lucky. Comp cams is susposed to have a cam out soon (or now) With all that, 300 HP is possible, but a big price tag is for real

299.4 is my torque
hp is arround 270ish as well.
haven't spent as much as you'd think but both SC alero and I are in the 300 plus catagory

^^^^ I was talking to a guy on a taurus forum from CO, and he said he had a video of 2 s/c aleros on the dyno as well as his thunderbird super coupe. I'm assuming it was you two. He tried to host the vid somewhere but it didnt work I guess. Any of you two have footage?? I'd love to see it.
