New headers and you're missing your second egr valve.

New headers?

Looks like it. He got headers that deleted that California AIR injection crap.

New Headers, no, I've had them for a while now

Yes to all the Cali emissions ;)

Haven't gotten on it yet. I was told to let the new valves seat in for about 200 to 300 miles before I do that.

New heads:

Milled .020 bumps compression to 9.7:1
3500 valves
LS6 Springs
3 angle valve job

Also added 28 lb injectors

Car runs a little bit smoother now. Sounds different (different as in good)

Just waiting on my HPtuners unit now. I dug out one of my old PCMs. Soon it will be bye bye to the following:

Downstream O2 sensor
EGR valve (will this really make an improvement? I hear mixed reviews)
A.I.R. injection system

:yahoo:

Both:

It was a Polished cap from WOT-Tech (I don't think they make them anymore) and I did the decal like the decal on my rims ;)

You have one beautiful engine bay. Hopefully I get mine to that point some day (although I'm doing a blue/silver scheme). Also for the EGR it's not worth deleting because all it does is make your car [more]illegal, and since the EGR is closed at high throttle points, it has the same effect when power matters. Also Deleting the EGR on a gas engine usually decreases fuel mileage and causes a rough idle.

That's the A.I.R. Injection system ... IIRC.

No, EGR only opens when cruising, if it opens at idle (much) it'll kill the engine. Won't effect idle.

gotta be careful with the down stream o2 delete. not sure what PA emissions are like but here in VA i had to turn the codes back on and drive it just far enough so the pcm runs the emissions checks, but before the ses light came on to get it to pass the test. major PITA.

^^ Probably the same here. PA is the second most strict in the country, Cali's the worst

Then you were doing it wrong. If you do it right, it will show "complete" right when you turn the key on.

When I put them on the car went from 15.7 to 15.3 in the 1/4 ;)
