Wow, you expect someone to help you now. Good luck. Here's my advice though, stick with something closer to stock. Anything higher flowing and you may just end up throwing more codes.

a magnaflow is what i would choose, but if you don't have emission I would just get a test pipe welded up...

The magnaflow one is really no different. Glad to see Catco finally cleared their testing...

The high flow cat will most likely throw a code. If you have cali emissions on your car, it will throw a code.

If you have California Emission, you'll have an air pump in the front right corner of the engine bay.

Muffler wise, Yes the Flowmaster 80 will fit and look good, however it seems to sound bad around 3000 RPM's. A Super 40 or 44 (the 44 is a tad smaller) will work and sound nice. I have dual 44's on mine and it gets a little ricy sounding around 4000, but just a little.

I have a vid on youtube of it Look up my user name "Redogonyx"

However please do it right. Get the bumper exhaust cutout done. If you don't have the car to do it right, just stick with one Super 40 or 44 and add the other later

You, flat out, have big effing balls to say that

Ok, props to you for trying to help out, but lets clear up something. Magnaflow is one company, Catco is another company. Both make high-flow catalytic converters.

@sfi3400: Now, I also want to commend you on recommending a new member use the search button, because that drives us all nuts on a daily basis. However, lets try using a little more tact next time.

@jelani6428: Tone it down a notch. We have so many people come in and ask the same questions over and over without using search, so don't get offended if we ask you to use it first. That was a pretty childish outburst for such a minor thing. Recommendation: start your post out with "I tried using the search first but couldn't find any usable info on...." and you're less likely to get jumped on. Reason I say this is because we know there are tons of threads on catalytics, but sometimes the search doesn't always turn up the info we want.

Good luck, and welcome to the site.

sometimes it's not what you say, it's how you say it.

If you run a hi-flo cat, your muffler will be the biggest factor in sound. Like I said I have the magnaflow version with headers and the SLP catback system. The SLP muffler does nothing and I'm loud. Mfuller has the catco version with headers and I believe a borla muffler, and his sounds about right.
