So, I took some picture today after I finished the partial wire tuck job of the alero.. tomorrow I will redo the rad support with beefier steel rectangle tubing and plates....
Let me know what you think about the wire tucking...:p :p
Also i got some pics of my cousin's cavalier, we swapped it ecotec this winter. Also he got his seats done by the same guy that did mine... you'll see his tsudo header... (leaking at the flexible section, damn tsudo) and the gorgeous and effing stiff level zero motor mount

thanks for the comment guys...
For my cousin's cavalier right now there is a tach generator, cold air intake and a tein coilover kit on order, a stage4 clutch, 2 prothane transmission mount, prothane lower dogbone engine mount and the level zero one... prothane control arm bushing, a zex dry kit 65hp with 2 step colder plugs, full 2,5 in exhaust straight with super turbo muffler.... potentiometer switch on the iat signal wire of 100 000ohm to give 4 degres advance when activated and a switch on the vss wire for the top speed trick... The last two are because we don't currently have a hptuner... I only got a DHP powrtuner for my L67 alero...
during the summer, we are gonna completely rebuilt another ecotec that we have with forged components, valves, cams, etc...... he want to go supercharged because of both of my alero are, but I want him to go turbo.... lol
Other than that it's purely cosmetic... rear speaker on the side panels, 2 subs, repainted the interior black and red, reupholstered the front and rear seats, blitz bodykit with molded sideskirt, 17 in rims, tinted windows, three pillar pod (oil pres. + vacuum + afr) and the big ass tach that I dislike on the dash.... But it is his car and not much I can do other than help him in his project...
BTW He bought the car at the end of last summer with the exterior bodywork done and the zex kit on the old sfi2200.....

I myself would tell him to buy Darton Sleeves and get the block re-sleeved then do the internals, get a forged crank too, a good turbo set up, and balance shaft delete. Ecotecs can take alot.

Looking good. What pulley are you using in the S/C, not the size but brand?. Another thing is there a way you can measure the Levelzero motor mount where it bolts to the body, bolt to bolt. Thanks.;)

Nice supercharged 3800, although I've always found the 3800 to be somewhat ugly, but hell that thing must be a beast though...
This X2 Please and Thank you... :D
X3 that, if you have the time.

Vic I got aZZP 3 inch on the l67 with a methanol injection kit....
For the others, no problem I'll measure that tomorrow for all of ya... but I'm pretty sure that can be made to fit by slotting the hole if they are not the same distance...
And malibu... yes it is a blast to drive, just to give you an idea how low end torque that engine has, I drop the clutch in second at a full stop and it jerks and go... it don't stall lol .....
but now i'm limited by the F23 tranny only 5 speed and the first is useless, really unless I want to do burnout... even that I do them in second or third..... and also the fifth ends too soon... I want more (cough) fuel economy (cough) when i'm on the highway 3000rpm is way too high for 120KPH, I really need a 6th speed F40 it's on the project list for next winter with the bodykit

Abhellrazor, thanks for the advice, I'll check that for the darton sleeves, but he don't want 500whp, he just want a 325whp... so approx 400 crank

ok, so I did a head gasket job on my g/f 97 cavalier yesterday and I forgot, but today I took some measurement for you guys... the bolts on the frame of the alero are 7''3/4 center to center... on the cavalier it is 7'' center to center... I measured the levelzero mount, it is about 7''1/2 if you slot the lower holes and put a washer on top it will fit without problem... the only thing I don't know is if the distance between the engine and the frame is the same... I'd like somebody to take a measurement of the distance between the center of the bolts of the engine and the center of the bolts of the frame....
BTW I started my new upper rad and latch support today and it won't never ever crack again.... 1/4in. square tubing and plates FTW..... Tomorrow after the mockup is finished I'm taking the engine out to weld it.. and put back the clutchmaster stage 4 in:yahoo: :yahoo: ... spec stage 3+ FTL

lol well yes maybe ... and my car is my publicity for the shop, so it better be good

You see that's what I mean by SPEC stage 3+ FTL... (2 first pic).... not even able to floor it one time during the last summer wothout spinning... no burnout not even one and no 1/4 mile last summer and supossedely it was rated to 450lb/ft of torque ... so I put back in my old clutchmaster stage 4 (last pic) that I had lend to my cousin for the last summer...

Little MAJOR update !!! I bought Kyle's OSV Kit... and Spyhunter spacer's and short shifter... Yep people my alero is gonna be OSV'ed and widened 2 more inches... gotta think about how to do the widebody without it looking goofy.... I want to incorporate it in the body line... I think I'll accentuate the wide effect on the side that the cars alerady has but only the curviness around the wheel... by 1 inch each side...
and Why the widebody ?? simple answer, the 19 inch wheel don't clear the corvette z06 brake setup 14,5 inc disc with 6 pistons calipers up front and 13,8 in disc in the rear with 4 pistons caliper...
If anybody know some very good drag radial in the 19 or 20's because for sure the 15in wheel won't ever be fitted to the car ever again....

There is no widebody on that Alero, looks completely stock to me. It get the appearance of being wide because the wheels come all the way to the edge of the fenders front and rear. The body damage on the left side seems like they just tried to pull or beat it out from the inside.

Look again at the video you can see the difference between both side & it is not damage as you said it how he make the rear quarter pop up a bit so it appears wider & that was probably a test to see how it would look like
A good body man would be better at it but if you take your time & do it right the rest is body filler & painting...
Anyhow i don't know if any wider rear quarter panel from another car would fit the Alero with little work?
That way wont have to bang out all the panel from inside?

I looked at you profile & saw the picture of your car & the girl looking at it...
The way she looked at the car make think what she had in mind that day...
P.S. I know it was probably just some people that you didn't know walking by looking at your car when you took the picture... anyhow don't take it the wrong way it's just a joke! ;)

it's 100% stock, no wideness added. just looked at both sides and compared to pictures of my car which has wider fitted wheels too.

OK people... The black car is widened on the left by one inch (cut into the inside of the wheel well and stretched with a body jack, that way the rear bumper still fit perfectly)... that's why the metal is rippled, by result of this stretch (there is a bracket in the frame of the car at that place, that's why)
I know him, it's leoalero... the guy that sold me the z06 brakes setup.. he has a stagerred wheel setup... and on the rear IIRC there are 20 x 10.5 with 275/30 zr20 tires...
