For those of you that know me, you know that this is something that I want to pursue...modeling and I wanted everyone's opinion on the photo's and support!

Heather, what kind of modeling are you looking to do? LIke Run-way model, or just posing for cars. I think you have the potential to do it, unlike my friend who wanted to be a model at the height of 4'11. Just dont let them bring you down, and tell you things otherwise. I hear they can be pretty judgemental. Telling girls and guys to lose weight when they cant lose anymore. Good Luck girl.

Posting tonight for sure, been busy working!!! Trying to do print work (Magazines/billboards/ads) and I want to be a cover model with cars or anything...possibly Victoria Secret if it comes my way. I'm only 5'6"-5'7" and 110 lbs., dark brown hair with blue/gray eyes. CHECK BACK AROUND 6:30/7P!!!

Good quality pictures Heather. You were asking about modeling shoots and all that in your last post. I do not really pay attention to modeling things. I do remember that In rosemont sometimes they have one of those modeling shoots or modeling scouts. To find out information when and where, i'm would be no help. But you should definatly check into those, and see what happens. Do you have yourself an agent? Maybe try those modeling agencies???? Good luck, and I hope the best for you.Hey i Just noticed this you have my natural hair color. lol.

I did the open calls...about 3 of them for John Robert Powers, Wilhemina, and stupid Barbazon. THey want you to give them about $2,000 and they can't guarantee that you'll make it so I'm doing it all on my own.

That first headshot at Judsen is very good. I'd suggest using that to send to modeling/casting agencies. Casting agents always are in need of attractive models for various print and commercial shoots. If you can, try to have your name imprinted in black centered near the bottom of the print. I've found that that is prefered nowadays (name on the front). Don't worry if you don't have a lot of experience yet - agents send people out on calls based on looks relative to the casting needs.

I've done some acting myself - mostly backgrounds/extras and featured extras (where you have a few lines). Been meaning to get new headshots taken so that I can seriously start doing TV work in the Philly & NYC crime dramas but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Jim Campasiano, I think that is how you spell the name^^^editor of MM&FF. But, I haven't heard anything back from him thought. Trying to get involved with www.babextreme.com also--talked with the owner of the site at NMRA in Joliet (Rt.66)...will be meeting up with him actually next week sometime while he is in the chi-town area.

Sorry I didn't get back with you sooner, Heather. I talked to John and he isn't surprised that you hadn't heard back from Jim. He apparently has a bit of a reputation about things like that.

John actually doesn't work for MM&FF, he's now at Jasper Automotive. He did, however, give me the names of 2 editors that he knows from 2 other Ford/Mustang magazines which he recommended I speak to. I just haven't had the time yet because work's been a bit hectic lately and I've been traveling a bit. John recommended that I email each of these 2 guys first and tell them that I've spoken to John and what about. They should then be able to tell me what you need to do in terms of supplying your materials.

Typically, John said, magazines have model lists and modelling agency contacts which they then reference when they are going to do a feature on a car or show in a particular area of the country. If they were to do an article on a new 8-second street-legal Mustang in Chicago, for instance, they'd look through their files for either a Chicago-based model or agency to contact for the photo shoot.

I'll try to send the 2 other editors an email this weekend or on Monday (since they wouldn't see the email until Monday anyway) and then get back to you.

I've been busy with work too that I haven't had much time to get some of my photo's out to different agencies. I just have a passion for cars and this is something that I've always wanted to do, that's why I'm pursuing it so much!!!

nice pics on the modelling site. One of my friends got started with photos i took, and then had an interview with the naked_news! she ended up doing 2 newscasts, they paid her pretty well, and got a few more modelling shoots from the"exposure". when i do head shots i try to get the models to not have their heads turned quite as much as in your avatar. when your nose breaks the edge of your face on a side shot, your nose always ends up looking out of proportion. other then that i like what i see. Also just wondering, do you wear your own clothes for most of your shoots? If we lived closer together i'd further your portfolio and mine at the same time! maybe we'll get to the same meet sometime.

I took some pictures with Scot's(Oldsman) car for the Alero chapter...I'll be probably going to the event for Alero Chapter for those of you who are bringing your cars....just so you know.

Most everyone on here will probably agree that they like the natural look, or less makeup. And one other thing, I know you probably can't help this because some people are just thin naturally but about 10 pounds wouldn't hurt you one bit. You just don't look healthy. That statement deserves soo much praise because it is soo very true. I wasn't intending to upset Heather or anyone else with this post. She wanted constructive opinions so I gave my opinion. Well I'm not sticking up for Heather or anything but how can you guys say that she doesn't have a chance to be a model of any sort. Models are all sizes and shapes but the ones that get the most recoginition are the beautiful ones. There are even "parts models", just model their hands or feet, etc.

I have seen models who are ugly as sin and ones who are beautiful.

How can we give Heather advice on her attitude whne we are not the ones that she is trying to impress.

I don't think she needs to gain any weight, I'm sure she'd get alot of slck if she did from agency's and photographers.

My sister has done some modeling and she's not hot and my son has gone for photos but he's a cutie anyways

Well thanks girls for the opinions and your personal views...like lilcountrygirl said, I just wanted to hear everyone's opinions...I see it as a learning experience and helps me only get better and try new things with my photos.

It's actually better to have multiple facial expressions in all my photos, as in a lot of my starting photos...there were some with smiles and different facial expressions. The one thing that I have learned is to be different in each of my photos...and of what many photographers have told me is that you have to make your eyes talk in the photos---many also have said that my best asset is my eyes because they do color change from blue to gray.

I really didn't take any offense to what everyone has said...I was more or less taking some humor from it. I only wanted everyone's opnions and more views on how or what things I should try in my photos. For those that think or expressed that they thought I was cocky or an arrogant person...that's only your opnion...all I can say to that is, "Maybe some day we'll meet and you might think differently.

SELF magazine yesterday and they had a small column, but thought you might be influenced by it. Heidi Klum the model for victoria's secret, has a book out about modeling. The point that I want to make is, for all who say you dont have what it takes, is exactly what they told Heidi. They as in scouts, modeling agencies, told her she didnt have what it takes, and looked "Like the girl next Door." Just thought that would give you some food for thought.

It really depends on the quality of the photographer. B&W pics can be absolutely amazing and hot.

Heather, your pic definately beats #4. #2 is weird looking, but scantily clad. You look good in that pic and you have nice proportions, but if you were dressed like #2, you'd prolly get more votes.
