Hey guys,
Its been a long time!
I was wondering if the alternator on the 3400 is the same as the grandam 2.4L engine?

no, different mounting patterns, and locations for wires

It's almost the same but the one hole on the 3400 is threaded where the 2.4 is not.

You could technically use it, you'd just have to use a nut and bolt on the one location and swap the pulleys.
