New England Meet!!!

Ok guys, its about damn time we have a New England meet. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come. Best location for the meet is the Berlin Turnpike in CT. We'll do a Saturday meet, sometime in early August. Everyone give imputs on what date would be best. The Pike is notorious for Friday nights and Saturday nights. Mainly all imports and classic cars, but there has to be at least 3000 tuned auto's driving around and parked along the pike in restaurant parking lots and such. Cars come from all over too...including out of state. Should be an awesome time. There are hotels and motels in the area for people not looking to drive home at night. Prices are very affordable. But yeah, we need to make this happen and show all these people what GM and our community has to offer.


(and some more on the Pike for those who don't know about it....Its about 10 miles long, and has all sorts of businesses up and down it. Just a major commercial area with restaurants and stores and everything all up and down it and like I've already mentioned there are TONS of cars.)

Should be a great time. Lets see a list of people who are interested and when the best date would be to have a meet.

Where in CT is the berlin tpk? Hartford area? Im starting my mini vacation today. Maybe I'll cruise down tis Saturday to check it out.

its route 15 in Berlin. If people are interested I NEED to know. I am going to the town of Berlin to have a permit for the meet. I would like to know an exact date so I can get a permit to have the meet. So lets see who is in

The 1st 2 weekends of August work for me. The last 2 weekend are iffy. I think I'll be in Memphis for work.

edit: also, i know some one down in CT with a grand am, would anyone have any problems if he showed up?

I can proably come for some of the time. MY family has a part on that date but I can probably duck out early. If we had more specific times and stuff for the 14th I might be able to commit. If it was the next week I could deff. commit

Well, depending on everyone's input, it will either be the 14th or the 21st. I just need to know what everyone wants to do, or what is better/easier for everyone.

Its not looking good. Currently we have like 4 people who have agreed to go. Unless we get like another 4 or 6 cars its not really worth it

yeah times just got tough for me right now

pulling 2 jobs 6 days a week right now, barely squeezing one day off and even that's not guaranteed

whatever happened to full time availablility!
