So I was wondering since I might be getting some new rims in the near future...what is the maximum suggested limit for the alero? And does that number differ if my alero is lowered?

18's look the best in my opinion.

What I usually do is I'll plus size 1 inch larger than the largest stock size.

In this case the largest stock size is 16 so I when with 17's

People have 18, 19's and 20's on an Alero

unless you like the bagged and slammed to the ground terrible ride quality look, i would do 17's 18's at the most

anything over 18 you are going to have a terrible ride quality

18s are a nice size and 19s can work. Anything larger requires mods due to the spring mount getting in the way...

the 22s do not look good on an alero.
