Dome light

I think I just broke my dome light by pulling it out to put LEDs inside..
Anyway there are two 'clips' holding it, do I just pull them out to take the dome light out.. I doesn't click back in. Damn I hope it's not broken. Anyone has any input on what I broke now ?

what kind of dome light do you have? two bulbs up front, or just one in the center?

2000 Alero, it has a big one in the front and two small ones in the back - the ones I tried to replace with LEDs. I figured it probably won't work anyway. I am putting them in my PRND and gauges as well..

ive had the same issue if you look at where you pulled it out theres probably a plastic piece it clips into and when you push the dome light up to reattach it the plastic holder moves up as well. I just got my hand up under my headliner and held the plastic piece while i pushed up the dome light. Sorry im bad at describing thinigs but hopefully that helps.

I had to replace mine because one of those plastic clips broke off and it would never stay up there.
