How, do you test the coil for the ignition?(each individual coil)

what is the resistance range, for a good coil?

.5 ohms I believe. Not 100% though.

auto zone can give you restiance(spelling) range for both primary and secondary contacts
not and accurate test of said coil

Not across the posts, pull the coil off and test across the terminals on the bottom of the coil. I pretty sure if its anywhere from 0.3-0.7 ohms the coil is good. But like said above autozone can test them for you.
