first off i know i live in michigan an it gets cold and shit tends to not work properly when cold. the past month or so when i start my car in the morning it runs like crap for about ten minutes. idles rough, stumbles on its face when accelerating, sometimes stalls. i just did a pre winter tune up about three months ago including plugs, fuel filter, air filter, and a few other things. anyone know why this could be happening? it did NOT do this last winter at all it started and ran fine right off the bat with no problems. thanks

ok, clean MAF, clean the entire intake, did you use other than AC Delco Plugs?

I don't think the 2.4 doesn't have a MAF sensor....

We do have a MAP sensor tho.

i cleaned the cam position sensor, air idle sensor, and iat sensor earlier today along with the whole intake and cleaned the filter for the hell of it. i replaced the coil packs about 1000 miles ago so i dont forsee that as the problem and i also used the ac delco rapid fire plugs when i did the tune up so im kinda stumped. and yes i hate this shitty weather and its only gunna get worse lol.

plugs, you used the wrong type, or you gapped them incorrectly, or they are fouled, and the coil pack is weak

The back of the throttle plate and that area sometimes needs a real good cleaning to idle properly, not a problem on our alero's too often though. Sometimes the coil packs like to leak to ground through the coil pack housing, make sure you have the proper plugs as that seems to be an issue. Don't gap them too big or you'll leak to ground/misfire more easily.
