I've been doing some research on cams and what not. and i was thinking about my push rods. are they supposed to be different lengths?

yes, intake and exhaust.

Exhaust are a smidge longer.

which side is exhaust? top or bottem in the picture.

You have more learning to do. Each cylinder has an intake and exhaust pushrod, so they are mixed together, the only way to tell which is which is by comparing lengths.

ya i know, if i didnt figure that out my engine wouldnt have worked when i put it back together wrong. so im glad i know now

ok so i dont know if anyone can double check this for me but the order for the pushrods is

(Closest to driver)
Long, short, long, short, short, long

(Closest to front bumper)
Long, short, short, long, short, long


I am 99% sure thats correct. but would love a double check from somone
