injectors hitting hard

im sure its been doing it since I've had the car but i recently noticed the injecotrs are hitting pretty hard. just replaced them about a month ago and im wondering if this is normal?

You need to explain this better. What does hitting hard mean? How do you know they are "hitting hard?"

I can't really explain. it sounds like valve train noise or like a lifter tick. I know for a fact that its the injectors. all I know is I can hear it over the engine

How do you know for a fact it's the injectors? The injectors are simple solenoids that open and close super fast. They just make a very light tick sound, very unique, doesn't sound like valvetrain noise.

when they wear out, they can "tick" so to say, mine do, it DOES sound like valve tick, did it pass when you replaced the injectors?

So if you replaced the injectors and the noise continues isn't it safe to assume that the problem lies elsewhere? Or would that be too logical?

so it, "sounds like" a valve or lifter noise, yet you "know for a fact" it's your injectors. That makes perfect sense. Because there's no way in hell it could be a valve or lifter problem if it sounds like a valve or lifter noise. On topic: Anyone here ever read Pierce Anthony novels?

Can you type in here what the sound is like? Is it a tick-tick-tick, or is it more like a tickety-bump-tickety-bump - ROFLMAO
