i bought some kuhmo tires to replace my back ones because the tread is next to none and the passenger side has a major leak, so i bought the tires in mind that in less than a year when funds permit i was going to buy a whole set of really nice ones, this is only temporary and the tires werent expensive and i couldnt spend the money I wanted on the tires. well the nittos i currently have on have a v rating and the kuhmos have an H rating. Went down to costcos tire department and they said they couldnt mount them because of the different ratings but he suggested a smaller shop would not turn me away. I dont see a problem putting the tires on, but is there something I dont know, remember I dont plan on keeping these on the whole life of the car, so keep that part out of mine.....

find a different shop. V rated tires are good for 150mph, H rated for 130. Neither of which our cars will reach. I don't see why the won't mount them.

It's not so much the amount of speed the car can go, but the stregth of the tire itself.
If a tire can take speeds of 130 MPH, it's not as strong as a tire that can take 150 MPH.
You also have to look at the traction rating and temp rating. If one tire you replace has a lower tracion rating than the other 3, it could become a problem with rain, standing water, sharp turns, and so on. Your Nittios probably have a higher rating than your replacement Kuhmo's.
"H" isn't that far from "V" so you shouldn't have a problem. Might feel a little different at highway sppeds. If you have "V's" and put on a "R" or an "S" then issues will rise.
